Travelling time from Cape Town by car is approximately 3.5 hours. Take the N1 North, at Worcester turn off to Ceres. In Ceres follow the sign boards to Prince Alfred Hamlet and Citrusdal. After passing through Prince Alfred Hamlet and over the Gydo pass, turn right at the 'Kagga Kamma' sign just after the small town called 'Op-die-Berg' (this is your last chance to buy supplies). Drive for 18 km and then turn RIGHT at the 'Kagga Kamma' sign proceed for 19 km on the gravel road and up the picturesque 'Kat Bakkies' pass and then turn LEFT at the 'Kagga Kamma' sign. The gravel road winds through scenic areas for 15 km so take time to view and photograph the rock formations.
