Reportedly there are braai facilities at the chalets. The chalets generally don't have cutlery and crockery - so be sure to bring your own! Parking is right next to the units.

The campsite gates open with sunrise and sunset - so it works with the park/main gates and changes weekly. All entry gates work according to sunset-sunrise. So if you arrive late, you can’t get in.

If travelling from Okaukuejo Camp through the park to Kamanjab, the first 160km take about 4 hours due to the speed limit inside the park, and the remaining 70km to Kamanjab/Kamanjab Rest Camp are on gravel roads of varying quality. A 4x4 is not necessary outside the summer rain season but recommended all year round.
