Tengenenge is an African village situated in the north of Zimbabwe within the Mashonaland Central province of Zimbabwe. The economic activity of this village is from sculpting constituting more than 11,000 exhibited sculptures. It is an open air gallery. There are some well-known family in this village with up to three generation of sculptures dating back to 1966, the village was founded by Tom Blomefield, a former Tobacco farmer, and chrome miner. All sales of sculptures are managed by a Sales department who can also arrange transportation to Harare and if requested, they can transport to customer's home country. Some of the famous sculptors in Zimbabwe the likes of Benhura, Dominic has raised the Zimbabwe flag and he is now the director at Tengenenge since 2007. There is a museum on site as well.
