Jungle Lights Rest camp is situated in Kalkfontein/Tsootsha, Botswana. They are a very popular halfway stop between RSA and Henties Bay in Namibia, and with international travellers landing in Windhoek and travelling to Botswana on the same day.
They offer en-suite safari tents and spacious campsites.
Home cooked meals are available as well as group meals which are accommodated to personal needs. There are braai-grids. Braai-meat and salads available by pre-arrangement.
The camp is close to the main road (ie. Situated 20m from the road going to Mamuno border post) and therefore may tend to be noisy due to heavy vehicles frequently passing by on their way to the border throughout the night. But nevertheless this is a very lovely and convenient stop.
The owner is very willing to open up the gates at an early hour if you want a dawn breakaway.

“The camp is close to the main road and suffers from the noise of heavy vehicles frequently passing by on their way to the border throughout the night but the owner is very willing to open up the gates at an early hour if you want a dawn breakaway. It can't be all that bad because we stayed there going to and coming back from Namibia!” - David Clack, 2016/09/01
“The camp is in the town of Tsootsha and literally 20m from the road going to Mamuno border post.” - Mietsie Visser, 2016/08/10
