Beach Lodge situated on the banks of the Pomene Estuary offering self catered accommodation or full board packages. The units are fully equipped for self catering and serviced all you need are your own beach towels and beach chairs.
We have 4 sleepers, 6 sleepers and 8 sleeper units.
If a boating enthusiast you launch the day you arrive and the boats are safely moored in front of your unit. We have a restaurant and bar serving all meals, awesome cocktails and drinks to a baker supplying fresh bread and pao. (Jul-2017).

FROM MASSINGA:
Travelling on the EN1 from Massinga just after the town you will first get the Morrungulo, turn off just after this you will see a sign that says Pomene (8km from Massinga) you take this turn off on to a sand road on your right hand side.
This road leads you to the first town being Rio Das Pedras (approx 6.4km’s) you go over a small bridge and you will enter the town, PLEASE IGNORE THE POMENE SIGN AND GO STRAIGHT. You will have the big tree on your right hand side and on your left red Vodacom building/General Dealer you need to go straight so this building is on your left – small barbar shop on LHS and some other shops of tin also. (Sometimes there is a lot of water in the middle of the road you need to go through this).
Just proceed straight this takes you to the next town being Manhenges – can get ice cold cooldrinks (small town) follow the Paradise sign go straight you will have school Monenje on your left. The road has been redone and you have culverts. Your go over a small bridge. From the school it is 12.1km, you will see the sign for to go left to Paradise. Road changes colour to
red sand.
200m further you take first fork to the right. Then 1.6kms you take left fork 6.1kms from that point take the right fork at Paradise sign. Then 3.5kms and you will get a fork – NB you can take either right or left. Please if towing take the left fork.
Then 1.9kms at top of hill you will overlook Paradise. ALL ALONG ROUTE WE HAVE P’S WITH ARROWS DIRECTING YOU IN CASE OUR BOARDS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. SOME ARE IN GREEN TO REFLECT AT NIGHT. You will also see boards for Macushula/Casa Rei you can follow these boards also as we replace boards regularly but the children take them down.
Please watch for tree stumps is towing. At the top of the hill you will see the Paradise Beach Lodge Sign and entrance to proceed down the hill and follow the road right (please keep up momentum as the sand is soft) until you see the Paradise Beach Lodge Reception Entrance Boards. Sign posts along road all the way (unless stolen).

ACCESS:
4x4 if towing or 4x2 with difflock if not towing with adequate ground clearance. The first part to town Mananges you can do in a car although it is a sand road. Thereafter you have a lot of beach sand and the middle of the road.
Also accessible by motorbike.
The nearest airport is in either Inhambane or Vilancoulos, each about 4 hours away. A shuttle can be arranged with an outside operator. Car rental services are available in Vilancoulos.
BOOKINGS:
Pre-booking is preferred but not essential. We try and get bookings so we can ensure rooms are prepared how clients want.
Eg. Double beds or single etc. We make sure fridges are put on and ice cold when clients arrive.
We like to get contact numbers so lodge can keep in touch with client and anticipated time of arrival.
