Located in the Northern cap the historic !Ae!Hai Kalahari Heritage Park was recognized as the 9th South African World Heritage Site on the 8th of July 2017. The park is managed by a joint management board comprising representatives of the ‡Khomani San and Mier communities and South African National Parks. The game count has also increased due to the sustainable development of Erin Game Ranch.
