Amam is a farm situated eighty kilometres North East of Springbok. It's welcoming desert retreat is a popular destination for tourist to explore the arid conditions of the Bushmanland and come to rest at the beautiful Melkbos Camp. This rest camp is favoured by many off road adventures who enjoy its tranquil setting and the renowned Amam 4x4 dune trail.

Directions from springbok(Cape Town Side) When travelling from Springbok on the N14 for more or less than 55km you will get the Beenbreek/Varssputs turn-off on the left onto a gravel road. On this road you will find 14 gates to open which is about 60km drive in, when you have passed the 14th gate the farm house will be at the mountain side on the left at a turn-off about 1 to 2km away. Directions from Aggeneys(Johannesburg Side) When passing Aggeneys on the N14 for more or less than 65km you will get the Beenbreek/Varssputs turn-off on the right onto a gravel road. On this road you will find 14 gates to open which is about 60km drive in, when you have passed the 14th gate the farm house will be at the mountain side on the left at a turn-off about 1 to 2km away.
