Rock Sculpture Hiking Trail is a trail situated within the Namib-Naukluft national Park in Erongo on the the Namib section of the park which is on the northern part of the park, east of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The marked trail starts and end north east of the Bloedkoppie. This trails have unusual rock formations and can be completed in +/- 3-5 hours and is just a short distance to the east of the Tinkas plain, a great scenic site for picnics. Hikers need to be self sufficient in food, water, firewood and equipment as they can even camp at Mirabib and Homeb camps just to mention a few. Hiking this trail is free but a park entrance fee is payable per person and per vehicle at the Namibia Ministry of Environment and Tourism office in Swakopmund. Permits fees depends on citizenship and vehicle fee depends on type of vehicle and passenger capacity. .
