“Montagu is the western gateway to the Klein Karoo, situated on the route 62 between the Waboom- & Langeberg mountain,. The Keisie and Kingna Rivers have their confluence in Montagu, before running through Cogman's Kloof to Ashton and the Breede River. The town has a peaceful atmosphere with a farm like appearance and beautiful Cape Dutch Homesteads” - Chris Smit, 2009/12/19
