Groenrivier lighthouse is situated at the Groen river mouth and dates back to the 1980s. The lighthouse a 17.2 concrete structure and act as a navigational aid along the West Coast and accessed by a gravel road. Marking the Southern border of the Namaqua National park. The lighthouse is not open to visitors, and is fenced and locked. (2015).
