The chalets and campsite is situated in the Cederberg on the banks of the Dwars River. The lush green, shaded campsites are situated under trees with a barbeque facility and electricity. Max 8 persons per site. A 20 Minutes walk will take you to the Maalgat mountain pool. The swimming hole with its clear water is great for a refreshing dip, and the more adventures can dive off the 8 m and 11 m high cliffs. A tuck shop at reception sells wood, ice and snacks. With hiking trails, mountain bike trials and wine tasting facilities, there is more than enough activities to ensure a great adventure.

From Citrusdal on N7, drive about 28 km turn right at Algeria/Cederberg sign. Gravel road over Uitkyk Pass, till you reach Dwarsrivier and Cederberg Wines reception.

“Great campsite with grass, lots of trees providing ample shade, a braai area and clean ablution. It was really hot when we were there, but hardly noticed it with all the swimming we did. Hiking to the Maalgat mountain pool was great fun and we spent most of the Saturday there. Cell phone reception is really bad and we had a visit from the baboons while there so keep your food locked up. We had a fantastic time here and would definitely visit again.
