Muisbosskerm was badly damaged during a fire in July 2023, but has been reopened to the public. Renovations are still under way. (Jul-23)

Unique and famous open-air restaurant, voted one of the 'Top Ten Sea Views to Dine For' by National Geographic. Try the buffet menu with items such as 'waterblommetjie' and 'hotnotskool bredie', or 'Hanepootkorrelkonfyt'. The restaurant is not open every day, therefore it is extremely important to make a reservation first. Meals only prepared once 15 people or more have booked, as meals are not "a la carte". Therefore, bookings is essential as they open usually only on weekends, cost R330 per person for a full buffet with beautiful sea views.
