This trail follows the coast line from Tietiesbaai campsite to Varswater (Freshwater) Bay about 2.3km south. You walk back on the same trail. The scenery is beautiful and at Varswater bay you will be rewarded with a long stretch of open beach. There is a popular diving spot on the way, called Die Geut (The Gutter), which literally looks like a man made gutter into the ocean. Allow about half an hour one-way and take water, sunscreen and a good hat along. At Varswater Bay there is shade to sit in and you can have a beach picnic.

From Tietiesbaai main campsite, follow the gravel road south until you reach the end of it. Park here and follow the trail along the coast line south.
