The four-star Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve south of the Cederberg mountains in the Swartruggens regions, it offers hundreds of rock art paintings in a scenic area as well as 4x4 excursions and game viewing.
Kagga Kamma was transformed into a Game Reserve in 1988, and comprises 15 000 ha. Accommodation resembles 'caves', with 10 'cave' rooms and 4 huts (rondavels), all with en-suites, air-condition, private patio and swimming pool. There is also an open-air room, and 3 bedroomed chalets that can sleep 6 or 8 people each.
