Situated along the west coast Road, within the Swartland region of Western Cape, Darling is a small village one hour drive from Cape Town. The town is well known for its beautiful wildflowers and shows in spring. The visitors will have loads of activities to keep them on their feet such as walking through the village and viewing the various arts and crafts markets, enjoy a cup of of coffee at a any restaurant of your choice and participate in game drives, 4x4 and visit the town museum to get an insight into the history of the town. A tranquil and peaceful getaway. General shopping hours are from 08h00-17h00 Monday to Friday while Saturday 09h00-13h00. Most shops are closed on Sundays and some between 13h00-14h00 for lunch time during weekdays. (Updated Apr-13).
