Formerly known as Onguma Forest Camp and renamed Onguma Etosha Aoba Lodge. Accommodation is offered in luxury thatched cottages with private showers and private verandas. A maximum of 29 guests can be accommodated in the 4 Heritage bungalows, 3 Bush suites and 3 Luxury Explorer bungalows and 1 Honeymoon Suite. The lodge is unfenced so no children under the age of 7 are allowed.
The main building houses the dining area, bar and library under a thatch roof and overlooks the plunge pool. They can arrange sundowner drives and trips to Etosha National Park.

Coming from the South (Tsumeb), follow the B1 direction North towards Ondangwa. Turn left onto the C38-Etosha,Namutoni road and you will reach the Lodge main gate on your right after 25 km. Check in at the gate and follow the Aoba signs for 13 km through the Onguma Nature Reserve.
Coming from the west (through the Etosha Park) you will leave Etosha at von Lindequist Gate. Turn left at the Onguma reserve gate 50 meters from the Etosha gate and follow the signs.

Etosha Aoba Lodge is located on the Onguma Private Game Reserve that was officially declared a Private Nature Reserve in May 1998. At that time, all the internal fences which were necessary to demarcate grazing for cattle farming were removed around the Etosha Aoba Lodge area. Subsequently additional areas were also opened up, allowing animals freedom to roam the 34 000 ha Reserve.
