This local enterprise is run by a Herero lady who took the initiative to truck diesel and petrol in from Opuwo. Fuel is hand pumped from 200 litre drums and carefully measured in 5L quantities. The fuel is generally NAD3-00 more expensive than in Opowu, expect to pay NAD11-00 per litre. Fuel is not always available but if they run out they normally replenish by the next day. If no one is at the yard, inquire at the shop across the road.

“Fuel may be expensive and not always available but consider this as a good place to get some extra fuel. We drove pass Okangwati to Epupa and back again a few days later towards Van Zyl's Pass.
