Exclusive Guided Desert Walking Trail at NamibRand Nature Reserve, leisurely, personal, fully catered and expertly guided - 2 nights/ 3 days. Tok Tokkie Hiking Trails is a challenging but not difficult trail in the NamibRand Nature Reserve. The walking trail may take up to 7 to 8 hours to complete, so the trailers must be prepared physically. The routes goes through sand dunes. The fluctuating temperatures may go as below as -0 degrees Celsius and as high as 35 degrees Celsius. The guests need to be prepared for all the changes in temperatures. Booking is essential as only a certain group number is permitted per each itinerary, no walk ins or day visitors are allowed. All the trails are accompanied by a trained and professional guide to ensure the safety of all the trailers. Children below the age of 8 yrs are not permitted. The hikers can sleep under the stars on the available shaded sites along the route, tents are provided in case it rains. .

Tok Tokkie Trails is situated ca. 110 km south of Sesriem, ca. 500 km/ ca 6 hours drive from Windhoek and Swakopmund. From the gate on C27/ D826 it is ca. 11 km to the trail starting point (4x2).
