This is the border between Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Cuchamano is on the Mozambican side within the Tete Province, approximately 140km South West of Tete and Nyamapanda is on the Zimbabwean side.
All visitors need a valid passport and a visitor's visa and those travelling with vehicles, valid driver's licence, vehicle documents, temporary import permit per vehicle and 3rd Party Insurance.
Runners are available, but you can firmly decline their services. A traveller reported that a TIP cost USD6. It is recommended for travellers to reach at the border 30 minutes before the closing time of the borders.
South African passport holders do not require a visa for Mozambique. All other passport holders need to travel with a visa which can be obtained from the nearest Mozambican Consulate.
