Centrally situated in Mozambique, the town is part of the Manica province where Chimoio is the Capital city of this Province. The town situated on a higher ground and is a town with most rivers that flow East towards the Indian Ocean. The town well known for production of bottled water from the Vumba mountains. The ethnic group are the Shona, Ndau and Sena. Reachable by air or road. The main economic backbone of the town is through agriculture as the major source of income to the inhabitants.
