National Park fees have been revised and new entry rates will be with effect from 1st January 2012. In the rainy season the cotton soil in the park becomes impassable. This means that you will have to leave your vehicle on the western side and stay in either Mvuu Lodge or tent camp. They do however guard the vehicles. If you do try and reach the lodge campsite and get stuck, Mvuu lodge will assist you at a fee, if you can reach them via phone. The rainy season is December to April. (Jan-13).
