Triangle is situated within Masvingo province of Zimbabwe in the Chiredzi district. This is a very small town, well know for large fields of sugarcane plantations, with the Tongaat Hulett's Triangle Estate being the major plantation where sugar is also processed and exported. The major and only sugar producing company in the country. This industry is the economic backbone of the town for its growth and infrastructural development. Cotton is also grown under irrigation. The estate also produces molasses and animal feeds which aid cattle ranching and milk production.
