A lovely natural hot spring that is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and tall raffia palms, the hot water bubbles out from the white sands of a crystal clear pool and flows into the Mansha River. Great place to relax and unwind after a long journey!
Kapishya Hot Springs are well worth the visit. The campsite is lovely and green with decent showers and toilets.
The springs can be used by the residents of both the lodge and the campsite. The springs are not hot springs in the traditional sense but rather water that has been pushed down approximately 7Km where is it geothermally heated before rising back to the surface at a constant temperature. There is no sulphur odour.
Activities offered are walks to see some rock paintings, rafting on the Mansha river.

Kapishya Hot Springs - The hot springs are approximately 9 hours drive from Lusaka along the Great North Road. It is advisable to fill up with fuel at any fuel station you pass as fuel is NOT always available! The great North road is in reasonably good condition but there are numerous police and immigration checkpoints so please make sure you have all the correct documentation such as passports and visas.
