Pandamatenga Border control (Zim) is between Zimbabwe and Botswana and situated 111km from Victoria Falls.
Pandamatenga is a great little border post to use as it is usually very quiet and quick to get through. This is one of the smaller border posts.
A valid passport is always required for all travellers and when visiting Zimbabwe with a car, original registration papers for vehicle and licence must always accompany the car. If driving someone else vehicle, an affidavit signed by the owner authorising the person with the vehicle to use it and third party insurance.
Payments are often made for road access fee based on the vehicle size and carbon pollution fee. Cash in small denominations is reliable, usually USD as card payments seldom work.
Border operating hours are from 08h00-17h00 (GMT+2) Time Guideline, very quiet and efficient. For more information about the border post please contact the Victoria Falls Town Office as there is no direct landline at the border.
