Old Campsite info: Kalovia Campsite is situated outside the South Luangwa National Park situated on elevated ground just outside the national park, surrounded by floodplains & the old channel of the Luangwa River. The campsite can cater for up to 20 people. The campsite has flush toilets, shower and basin which uses a drum of water which is filled by hand. There are caretakers on site. Guests should be completely self sufficient with camping equipment, food and drinking water. Kalovia camp is open annually from 1 June – 31 October. This campsite is managed by Camp Zambia. Guests can prebook and prepay ensure exclusive camp use. Reservation mandatory.
