On the shore of Lake Kariba between the Senkwe and the Muenda Rivers is the Chete Area offering hippo and crocodile hunting as well as fishing in the Kariba Dam. This area is tranquil and has a sense of solitude and the wildlife is abundant. The island is the largest in Lake Kariba and provides guests with a wild water wilderness. This area is much closer to Zimbabwe than Zambia and large herd of Elephants migrate to Zimbabwe.
