The camp is near the Mpayathutlwa pan and is situated in the Mabuasehube area of the Kgalagadi Game Reserve. This campsite has little view. The campsite has a rustic shower, longdrop toilet, A-frame and shade trees. Visitors to the Kgalagadi must be fully self-sufficient to travel the area.
There may be water at this camp, but may be too salty for drinking and cooking, so it's advisable to take your own drinking water. Also note that in poor rainy seasons, water is not guaranteed here.
There are 2 campsites here and a separate 'overflow' campsite. Visitors must book in order to camp here. This campsite have been privatised and booking are done through Inter-Tourism Group.
Park entry fees may be paid at the gate in Botswana Pula cash only - ensure that you have the correct amount, or pre-pay your entry through the DWNP offices +267 686 1265 or +267 397 1405. Reservations are therefore mandatory.

You are not allowed to collect wood in the Kgalagadi National Park. Visitors must bring their own firewood and drinking water. Beware of lion!
