The Monamodi Camp is located next to the Monamodi Pans in the Mabuasehube area of the Kgalagadi National Park. This campsite has no view of the pan. The campsite facilities include rustic showers (wooden shower spiral structures), which are non-operational, there is just a structure, and pit latrines and shade structures. Note that water is not always guaranteed here, especially during seasons with low rainfall. Sometimes Monamodi Camp 1 has got water. You need to be fully self sufficient, to travel the area.
A passport is not needed as long as entry and exit is made at the same gate.
This camp can easily accommodate 10 people and 5 vehicles. Campsite reservations are mandatory, you have to book ahead.
Park entry fees may be paid at the gate in Botswana Pula cash only - ensure that you have the correct amount, or pre-pay your entry through the DWNP offices +267 686 1265 or +267 397 1405. Reservations are therefore mandatory.
