Joubertina

The town is situated within the Cacadu District Municipality of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. This town is nestled in amongst the Kouga, Baviaanskloof and Tsitsikamma mountain ranges and conveniently along Route 62. Surrounded by huge Apple farms. The beautiful region overlooked by Peak Formosa, the highest in the Tsitsikamma Mountains, is known for it's apples, honeybush tea and friendly farming community. Here you can enjoy horseriding, hiking, 4WD trips and the annual August Blossom Festival. The economy is dominated by deciduous fruit farming (apples, pears etc) and Tourism and still remains more of a rural village than a developed town as it has a few general dealers for basic commodities.
