The Zuurberg Mountain Village Fondly referred to as The Old Lady, is a country Hotel close to the Addo Elephant Park. It has become a popular destination for visitors from Gauteng and abroad. Guests are accommodated in Edwardian Styled Garden Cottages, or in the old original 1861 Zuurberg Manor. The complex has a Restaurant, English Pub, Swimming pool, Tennis Courts Kiddies Playground and Games Area Private guided game drives into the Addo National Elephant Park are arranged. Walking Trails in the Addo Park and on Village property. Horse Trails into the Addo Elephant National Park.

Directions

From Port Elizabeth, take the N2 towards Grahamstown. Pass the entrance to Blue Water Bay and the Coega project on your left hand side. Turn left the R335 (Motherwell / Markman) road. At ADDO, continue with the road across a railway crossing for a further 10 km to the turnoff left onto a gravel road. The Hotel is a further 16 km along this road.
