Situated within the Tarangire National Park, the Public Campsite is situated 5km from the main park gate and park headquarters. Managed by TANAPA, the sandy campsites have toilets and showers, there is a cooking area and water is brought by trucks and should be used sparingly. The water is also not safe to drink, bring own drinking water and be self sufficient in terms of food items.
