Reportedly the ablutions were very good here. Only negative is that this camp is close to the Park Headquarters and bandas, spoiling that African wilderness feeling. (Feb-13).
Beware of wild animals walking through the camp at night!
“Unfortunately this new camp is overused and close to the Park Headquarters and the Park's Bandas , which spoils the wilderness feeling. Too many people drive past here all the time even at night. Ablution facilities are good, though. We also stayed at the old camp, which is on a rivulet among huge shady trees. No-one ever passed there.” - Mietsie Visser, 2013/02/19
“This is real nice wild camping and you have to keep your eyes wide open, animals walk through camp at night, beware!” - Deon Kotze, 2012/03/13
“The two older camping sites are fly bitten and in the centre of the park and should be avoided. Two newer ones have been set up on the banks of the Ruaha river and have long drop toilets.” - David Clack, 2009/01/31
