Reportedly one of the best resorts on the east coast of Tanzania.
“Peponi Beach Resort is probably the best resort on the east coast of Tanzania. Apart from the beautiful chalets under palm trees, the campsites are right on the beach, each with a power point and a thatched shade. There are large clean ablution facilities and a laundry/washing up area. The restaurant serves excellent seafood and local dishes. We loved the seafood platter and the samoosas! There is a beach bar and sparkling pool, or you can swim in the very warm water of the Indian Ocean close to the equator! Peponi has it's own dhow(sailboat) which does daily excursions to the islands for snorkellng.” - Mietsie Visser, 2013/02/25
