Maguga dam is on the Komati river, Swaziland. Situated 11km from the Piggs Peak and 115 meters high, making it a 5th highest dam in Africa. The dam has a capacity of 332 million cubic metres, 1042 hectares. The slipway is at Maguga lodge where accommodation is also available for the fisherman and visitors. The dam structure is made of timber and the dam is well known for a world record in Southern Africa of bass fishing, bass between 2.5kg to 5.0kg can be expected so bring heavy line and sturdy tackle..
