Tarangire National Park is situated within the Manyara region of Tanzania and is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania, situated 118km from Arusha, the park can be reached by a car or charter flights from Serengeti and Arusha. The park is also rich in flora and fauna, rich in unspoilt game as the park have less visitors unlike other parks and reserve like the Serengeti National park. Accommodation is available in comfortable safari lodge, tented camps and public campsites. All vehicles are also charged to enter the park and driving in the park after dark is strictly prohibited.(Updated Mar-13).
