Arabuko Sokoke Nature Reserve is situated 20km from Malindi and 110km north of Mombasa and covers approximately 420sq km. The park is well known for the prolific birdlife and the park stretches kilometres of dry forest with Mixed forest, Brachystegia Woodland and Cynometra, each containing different rare species of Birds, Mammals, Butterflies, and Plants. Inside the park there are no accommodation but visitors to the park can stay in accommodation situated nearby. Camping area are however available close to the park office but the visitors need to be self sufficient.
