Mnazi Bay Marine Reserve is situated in the Mtwara district of southern Tanzania, and extends all the way to the Mozambique border. The area is considered to being internationally important for its biodiversity. The environment within the park includes mangroves, sea grass beds and coral reefs. Mnazi Bay is home to populations such as whales, dolphins, species of turtle and numerous birds. There are over 400 species of fish have been identified and more species of over 258 coral. The area of the park consists out of 10 villages and 5 sub-village. Accommodation can be found in the nearby town of Marine Bay. (Dec-15)
