Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda on the rim of the Rift Valley. Bwindi is home to more than 300 Mountain Gorillas. The park was founded in 1942 and became a World Heritage Site 1994. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a very popular area for gorilla trekking. A trek through this magnificent rain forest is among one of the world’s premier wildlife encounters.
