Meru National Park is located to the east of Meru 350 km from Nairobi, it is 870 km² in size and is one of the most well known parks in Kenya. The park has a wide range of wildlife. It offers diverse features like a jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamp, khaki grasslands and gaunt termite cathedrals.
