Mururani is located on the B8 national road between Grootfontein and Rundu. It is the border gate of the veterinary check point between the northern and southern farming areas. This control point is known to be very strict.

There is no fuel station only Container Fuel at the Mururani Shop. There is no hospital or Police station. No tow-in in the area but Polka 24hr services this area they are based in Okahandja.+264(0)81 129 7490. (Apr-12).

No raw meat, unpasteurised milk or curios made of wood are allowed south past this control point, unless you have the necessary permits.
