For accommodation there is currently no camping facilities around. But only a few local guest houses priced around 500KSH pp. (Feb 2015).
BANKING:
You will find an ATM here, but no bank or forex. (Feb 2015).
EMBASSY/IMMIGRATION INFO:
The nearest Embassy is in Nairobi (+254(0)20 363 6451).
Nairobi is only 1 hour away with just about any medical, immigration requirements etc. (Feb 2015).
GAS REFILL:
Kenya LP Gas is in Kijabe, for gas refill. (Feb 2015).
SERVICES IN TOWN:
There is no tourist info office, internet café, shopping centre or shopping mall in Kibjabe. There are however general dealers and small shops. (Feb 2015).
There is also no baker, liquor store or laundromat in Kijabe. (Feb 2015).
There are tour services in town, which offer vehicles to hire to visit nearby game parks etc. (Feb 2015).
There are no car rental or tyre services in town. Tow-in services is provided by Justus, a local mechanic. (Feb 2015).
