The best time to travel here would be all year, although best from June to January. The rainy season is from February until May/June. The nearest airport is the Julius Nyerere International Airport, in Dar Es Salaam, about 120km away (4 hours). There are no shuttle or car rental services. Road conditions you can expect in this area: dirt road, sandy, wet in rainy season (in rainy season, Feb-June, a 4WD is required). There are no supermarkets or anything in the neighbourhood, only local shops with few basic necessities. (Sep-11).
