This is a non-profit organisation. It is a 350 meter walk across the farm yards to get from the Kembu campsite to the Knitting Project. The Knitters was set up to create employment and extra income in a rural area where salaries are low and jobs hard to come by. It now supports around 1200 people in the community. Visitors visiting this gift shop will be tempted by their beautiful work.
