Kabwe Campsite is situated within the Kasanka National Park. The campsite is situated between the Bat Forest and Bufumu Forest and therefore offers great wildlife and bird experiences. The campsite is downstream across the Kasanka River, overlooking the grasslands that is perfect for large groups.
The campsite can cater for 8 people or 3 vehicles. Available is 1 toilet and 1 shower. All campers should be self sufficient in terms of food supplies, own tents and equipment, as the sites only have a simple toilet, bucket shower and shelter. Staff are available to help fetch borehole water from Wasa Lodge.
A camp attendant will also provide wood and ensure there is hot water for bucket showers and lights at the campfire.
There are no power outlets at the campsites but you can charge camera batteries if necessary by arranging it through Wasa lodge. Reservations mandatory.
