Kizigo Game Reserve is situated near Dodoma, at the Manyoni Singida Region. The reserve was established in 1982. It covers 4,000 sq km and forms part of the Great Ruaha ecosystem. The reserve is known for their unique Itigi thicket Miombo woodland forest - outcrops, scattered water holes, springs, and riverine valleys.
