This shop now accepts credit card and cash. (Apr-1014).

Mata Mata Shop (general supplies) is very small and only sells basic food items such as meat, chips, biscuits, sweets, cooldrinks, beer and savannahs, wine, ice, wood etc. Homemade bread and traditional homemade breadrolls (potbrood), may be ordered at the shop, usually before 14:30 for collection the following day.

Ice is also available at the shop but in summer it is scarce because of the demand is high.

The temperatures can reach a scotching forty degrees and the visitors need to be self sufficient in their drink supplies to avoid heat exhaustion.

There is no ATM here - there is only a mini ATM at the shop in Twee Rivieren camp.
