Muchichiri is one of two large self-catering lodges situated a short distance upstream from Nyamepi Camp, Mana Pools. These lodges has a bathroom and shower with hot and cold running water; 2 toilets and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two 2-bed bedrooms and four more beds on the upstairs open verandah. Bedding is supplied and the lodge is cleaned daily. There is a large dining room and lounge, an outside braai area from where you can view the wildlife coming down to drink or simply watch the African sunset over the Zambezi River. Bookings are made through Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management. You have to collect your permit from the Marongora office before 15:30. (Sep-11).
