About 12km west of the official Petrified Forest of Twyfelfontein is another, smaller, petrified forest in the Doro!nawas Communal Conservancy. Here you will find two tree stumps, at least 28m long, lying next to each other as well as a cross section of a fossilized stump. What makes this site special is a tree stump that is wedged in between some huge rocks. (Apr 2021)
