Cangandala National Park is situated between the Cuije river and 2 unnamed territories of the Cuanza. The Culamagia and Techongolola are towns on the edges of the park. The park is located in the Malanje Province of Angola. This is the smallest national park in Angola. It was created in 1963 while it was under Portuguese rule and declared a national park on 25 June 1970. The park was founded to protect the Giant Sable Antelope discovered in 1963. The park size covers and area of 600 km².
