About 98ha of fynbos found on the farm was proclaimed a Private Nature Reserve to preserve the endangered plant life. A secluded self catering mountain cabin, The berghuis can be rented sleeping about 16 people. The cabin has great views of the surrounding areas and even Table Mountain, Cape Point all the way to Paarl can be seen. Freshly picked olives are also sold on the farm. They aren't really open for wine tastings but wine can be bought at the farm if arrangement prior to visit.
